BELIEFS
ABSOLUTES
The Bible Recap aims to lean into these “Absolutes” as we read through Scripture. Where Scripture touches on secondary or tertiary opinions, we aim to approach it in the following manner: present the options that fall within orthodox Christianity, link to various resources in the show notes, and offer the opportunity for churches/pastors/leaders to guide their groups through a discussion of the Scriptures surrounding those particular topics. We believe it is most helpful for those conversations to occur within the local church / gospel community.
The divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture as originally given and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through His sacrificial death, as our representative and substitute, of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God.
The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective in the individual sinner, granting him / her repentance towards God, and faith in Jesus Christ.
The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.
The expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
