exclusive facebook group TIER

To join the RECAPtains of The Bible Recap (Official Discussion Group) on Facebook, you’ll need to request to join and type in the email address you used to sign up as a RECAPtain. We use your email address to verify who our RECAPtains are. We'll approve you as soon as possible (we appreciate your patience!), then you can jump right into the discussion!

The bible kneecap TIER

For The Bible KNEEcap (sometimes called TBK for short), you’ll be able to attach the RSS feed (your personalized link to TBK) right to your favorite podcast app. Here’s a helpful article and/or tutorial video to get you all set up. We also include transcripts for TBK in the show notes of each episode, and we’ll send out .pdf versions of the transcripts weekly. To review transcripts select the "Posts" tab on your dashboard. If you want them delivered right to your inbox, make sure you’re subscribed to receive email notifications. You can also search for a specific day’s transcript. Feel free to print these out or download them to your devices for personal use. Please do not share the digital or printed copies with others.

Question & REsponse TIER

We call it “Question & Response” instead of “Question & Answer” because Tara-Leigh has responses to your questions, but doesn’t ever want people to think she has all of the answers! Your questions need to be theological questions in response to where you're at in The Bible Recap plan, not questions related to personal life circumstances. You can submit your questions through this form. Once a month, Tara-Leigh will collect the questions, do some research, and answer them for you. You'll get the response via email. She often prefers to answer via voice memo.

While you may submit more than one, we can only guarantee an answer to one of your questions per month. We wish there was time for Tara-Leigh to answer all of the questions you might have! We encourage you to talk to your local pastor for any questions Tara-Leigh is unable to answer (and even the ones she does!).

podcast transcripts TIER

Transcripts are posted weekly. To review transcripts select the "Posts" tab on your dashboard. If you want them delivered right to your inbox, make sure you’re subscribed to receive email notifications. You can also search for a specific day’s transcript. Feel free to print these out or download them to your devices for personal use. Please do not share the digital or printed copies with others. 

bonus content TIER

Each month, we’ll post a video, Bible Study, podcast, helpful tool, or some other piece of content we think you’ll love as your Bonus Content. You can access the Bonus Content on the bottom of the “Home” tab, by scrolling through the “Posts” tab, or by using the search bar.

  • Supercast is the tech company we've hired to replace Patreon. Our new RECAPtains page is thebiblerecap.supercast.com.

    You won't see their names often, but when you do, you can trust it!

  • Yes! If you follow the steps of the migration link above, Supercast will move all your funds over instantly!

  • RECAPtains content will only be posted on Patreon for a limited time. We'd love it if you'd join us on our new site!

  • Yes! When you fill out the Supercast registration info, you'll see the option to upgrade or change tiers!

    After you’ve switched over to Supercast, you can adjust your tier by clicking the “Subscription” tab at the top of the RECAPtains dashboard. Pick a new plan to switch to and choose “Change to this plan”.

    Plan changes will be applied immediately, and any time left on your old plan will be prorated against the new plan.

  • Yes! After you’ve switched over to Supercast, you can adjust your tier by clicking the “Subscription” tab at the top of the RECAPtains page. Scroll to the bottom and click the “Manage” button to make updates.

    Select the tier you're interested in, then simply adjust your monthly total to add additional funds. Thanks for asking!

  • Just like on Patreon, you can pay monthly OR annually.

  • Let’s see if we can help get this billing situation sorted out! In our move over from Patreon to our new RECAPtains platform (through Supercast), we know there were several back and forth steps.

    One of the final steps in the process, once you're registered on SUPERCAST, is to log back into your Patreon account and cancel your subscription with The Bible Recap on Patreon. This, unfortunately, isn't an automatic setting, but has to be done manually by you. Here are detailed instructions for how to cancel Patreon.

    If you have tried to cancel your Patreon membership, email us recaptains@thebiblerecap.com and we’ll try to provide further assistance.

    Once you've cancelled your Patreon account, you can email recaptains@thebiblerecap.com for a refund for some of the time you were double-charged.

  • Once you’ve moved to our new RECAPtains platform (through Supercast), here are tips on how to find your RECAPtain content!

  • There isn’t an app, but you can bookmark the RECAPtains page to your phone homescreen.

  • Podbean is our host platform for The Bible Recap, and we also broadcast out to many other reliable and reputable podcast apps/platforms.

    While Podbean doesn’t have the ability to connect to The Bible KNEEcap, for reasons outside of our control, the good news is that Apple Podcasts and Spotify are two other very widely-used, well-known platforms that usually perform great AND offer capabilities to connect to The Bible KNEEcap. We would suggest either of these platforms to you!
